I found an old picture of some work I did in college. This is glue and pastel chalk on black paper. I shooped it a bit with PicMonkey but didn't change much of the line or context details. Its nice to draw once in a while from a dark base layer. It can give the impression of BIGGER or more organic space. Here is a haiku to reflect on this point:
black is the new blank
deep, dark, immemorial
welcome beginnings
