Valentine Video

Here is another time-lapse video on the theme of love.  It was supposed to be a video-response to a SoulPancake--Artattack video but I couldn't figure that part out so I tagged them instead.  I use the Youtube Video editor to add the audio track which disables monetization on my end.  This means I make no money broadcasting this video on YouTube, but the owner of the audio does.  I wish it was a mutually supported thing for both original video and audio content creators but oh well.  Who really reads this blog anyway?  Enjoy!

Video Up!!!

So here is my video I created using my old Olympus Stylus Tough.  I used Windows Movie Maker to edit the video so it is sped up under 3 minutes and then used YouTube's video editor to add text, notes, and the kickass audio by Dub Trio called "Sunny I'm Killed".  Check it out!

I want to get a GoPro HD camera so I can get a much clearer video next time around.

Drawing: Action Comic Style

One day I was bored.  I have been unemployed for a while and in between waiting for new jobs to apply to, possible interviews, and other opportunities I caught myself watching daytime television.  Personally, I have no desire to see anything on TV after 10am... Monday through Friday.  Too much drama... The internet can get a little stale too.  So I decided to go to the library and get an actual book to read.  I got 4.  And one of them is Drawing Cutting Edge Comics by Christopher Hart.  I decided to really practice and develop a style with the human figure because I have plans for a larger acrylic on canvas work.  Also, I have plans to write a short story comic about Saipan.  As I draw these figures  they may develop into characters that will star in a future "Pangelinan".

Right now I am almost through Chapter 1:  The Basics With an Attitude on page 19.  If you have to book with you can see some of likeness of my drawings to the figures in the pages by Christopher Hart.  So follow me as I sketch, draw, and color something from each page in this book.  You can catch my progress on my Instagram thingamachingy at the bottom of this blog.
